General Merchandise

We strive to have an ever changing inventory and new items can be found on our shelves daily. There is always something fresh to see when you visit us.

These are some of the new selections . you'll find.  I hope you find the love of Old and New just like I do.  We have furniture makers (4 different ones now) all from Maine.  I love the relationship I have with these people and I am lucky to be carrying their fine products.  As you check out these pictures look at the all the shelves that you could tuck into a corner at your home, here or there.  All of these little touches will make your house a home, they will bring a cozy, comforting feel to your home and make for a warm and inviting space for you to visit with your friends.

I love the table above, it is a repurposed piece, and in black with a country red top it is very sweet.  We put some of our Chicken Wire Baskets underneath to give you an optional idea with storage.

Do you love dolls? We have handmade ones, and others that are made to look old with porcelain heads.  We have some that are holding cats, and chickens, and others that have baskets or babies.    They look great in chairs with pillows, or on a shelf next to something old.




Look at all the RED!  This is a 7ft tall bench that would be great in your entryway.  It is primitive and plain enough that it would be a great pop of color against an off white wall.  Check out the Spool Lamps, we have quite a few of them in stock. A little bit of light in the corner of any room can make a huge difference in the warmth and feel of a space.  Have you read any of the subway signs?  They have great sayings that reach to the heart.



We have prints from so many, but the Billy Jacob prints seem to still be a Best Seller.  We do our displays to help show you what you could do in your own home.  What things could look like on a mantle or shelves, or if you bought that new hutch you have been wanting.  I love displaying, it probably is one of the things that I do that I like the most.  It lets me be creative with different things, new looks and ever changing product.  I am a lucky girl!

The pillow is HAND MADE!  Have I told you about our HAND Crafted Items?  We are getting more and more of them on a regular basis.  We are trying to support Hand Makers and Hand Crafters across AMERICA!  It is becoming increasingly more important in my life to support LOCAL in anyway possible, whether it is on my Main St. or someone else's in America.

Check out the wooden sheep, he is a hand made product too.  The battery operated candle below is in a repurposed pot, giving life to something old is always fun for me.

We have hangers and several different items to hang from those hangers, they look good in an archway, or on your front porch.

Look at Mr. & Mrs. Rabbit, Yes they are hand made also.  Very nicely done, quality work at a very reasonable price.  We also label all of our hand made items so that you will know when looking for prices in case buying USA made matters to you too.
