Over the years I have become a junk hound. I believe that this world has enough stuff in it~ ( I know, right? This, coming from the girl who owns a gift and home decor store.) If you can Reduce waste by making something wonderful out of something old, then you should. I believe that you should Reuse, any items that have nothing wrong with them; items that you just want to discard because you are tired of them. Recycling is important, for so many reasons. The feeling of satisfaction I get when I can "Upcycle" an old hutch or a table and chair set, to name just one. Pride, maybe, but the feeling I get when something I took the time to make beautiful and useful again, sells within hours of displaying it "for sale" anew on our floor is better than being a kid in a candy store or at the Silkweed's fudge counter, for that matter.
These pictures show just a few the many items available that have been reworked and re-loved. They can be purchased so you can make memories of your own with them for years to come in your home. When we re-purpose pieces, we note that on the tag. Re-purposing affords us the luxury of selling these pieces for lower prices then our NEW furniture pieces, which are custom built for us.
